Indians shown their true Team spirit with great efforts by Zahir, Yuvraj, Gambhir, Raina pushed out the so called "Champions" The Aussies, out of the contest.
What surprised me was the filthy comment by Ricky Ponting on Sachin Tendulkar. Comments that the Aussies wouldn't allow Sachin complete his 100th 100 ton. and that how will Sachin would run in his 42 year of age (means the next world cup) are totally out of frustration and not a true sportsman spirit at all.

That is why not even the century scored by Ricky Ponting helped the Australian Team.

It is well said by the hindu ancient text "VINASH KALE VIPRIT BUDDHI" means when one's end comes the mind goes into the opposite direction.

Great job Indians.

Highest chase in world cup history

There have been many big chases in the ODIs. The Australia vs South Africa ODI on March 12, 2006   Johannesburg is having the highest chase in ODI by South Africa scoring 438/9 (49.5 overs) against Australia's score of 434/4(50 overs).

But in the world cup history the match between Ireland and England in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is the highest chase till date with Ireland chasing the target of 327 runs (50 overs) scored england.
Ireland scored 328 runs (49.1 overs).
